DJ Jaymob, was born in New York City and later moved to Orlando Florida and began his producer career in the late 80s. He used the Emu SP 12/1200 sampling drum machine. DJ Jaymob's production style relies on hard to find samples that comes from his vast collection of records. He attributes his production influences to be DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Diamond D, Lord Finesse, and the Large Professor.
